[ocweekly] The War Around Us recently nabbed the best feature documentary award at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It profiles the 2008-2009 Gaza invasion through the eyes of two young Al-Jazeera English correspondents, Ayman Mohyeldin and Sherine Tadros. Through their eyes, viewers get a glimpse into the Israeli incursion on the 25-by-7-mile Gaza strip, which killed nearly 1,400 Palestinians and 13 Israelis (four from friendly fire).
